No. 23 Mount Pleasant is a Registered care home for eight adults with learning disabilities. It is a two storey purpose built building, housing four service users on each floor. Kitchen/dining areas to both floors are spacious and allow easy access to cooking and entertaining.
The first floor has a bathroom with walk in shower and an office with en suite facilities. To the ground floor an assisted bath enables support for people with severe physical disabilities. Also on the ground floor there is a large laundry with full facilities used by all service users and a portable hoist facility. On both floors there is a single toilet and small store room. The house has private gardens to the sides and rear of the building, with a paved patio and shed to the rear. To the front of the house there is a car park for up to five cars.
The home can offer support for a diverse range of people with waking night provision. The house is centrally located, with Chesterton Village in easy walking distance from Mount Pleasant.
