I Lead my own life now - and have two part-time jobs and my own flat. I have the same support worker from Choices who I like and she assists me with the things I need help with.
Sarah originally lived in a supported housing property operated by Choices, which she shared with another lady. As she become more accustomed to living independently she wanted to have her own flat. Choices enabled her to find a property with another Housing Association and we continued to provide her with the support she needed - even when she moved into her own home. Sarah is doing really well in her new place and loves her jobs.

Jack - Success Story
I was really nervous about living on my own, but Choices showed me how to live safely. I also have an alarm system so I can call for help - and now I love having my own house.
Jack always wanted his own place to live, but was very nervous about being on his own. We spent a lot of time working with him on home security, fire safety and how to call for help if he needed to. We were able to arrange all the alarm equipment he needed in order to stay safe. His initial fears have now gone due to receiving the correct support which has enabled him to live independently.
