British Institute of Learning Disabilities Gold (UK) Member

Choices Housing Association has been awarded a level 1 rating as an accredited training centre by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities for the delivery of the Learning Disability Qualification.

In addition we have also been given 'Beacon Status' by 'Positive Options' for the delivery of their training programme in the management of actual and potential aggression (MAPA). Positive Options an internationally regarded training consultancy has awarded 'Beacon Status' to Choices following an assessment of how we deliver their training programme and for the excellence of our approaches in the management of actual and potential aggression. The training programme is also validated by the British Institute of Learning disabilities.

Nigel Downs, Executive Director of Choices, said: "We place a lot of emphasis on the training and development of our employees and it really rewarding for the organisation to receive this accolade."
