In June this year Suzi Chard, the Choices Housing training manager was awarded the prestigious 'Care Innovator Award' at the Great British Care Home Awards, for displaying outstanding entrepreneurial abilities in both identifying and developing new ideas which benefit service users and staff alike. Suzi has successfully delivered a bespoke induction programme which involves 3 service users with learning disabilities being employed to co-train alongside her in the delivery of person centred values training for new employees.
